Jim Nabors sings the nostalgic “Back Home Again in Indiana”, fighter planes fly in formation overhead as taps is played, thousands of balloons are released...and then the command is heard by all - “Gentleman, start your engines”! Both engines and crowd explode simultaneously, the flag signals the start of the race, and the excitement continues until the waving checkered flag crowns the 2008 Indianapolis 500 Champion!
