Montego Bay is the natural focal point for any golfer that visits Jamaica, and for many avid golf travelers it has been the island of choice.
This is largely due to the formation of The Rose Hall Golf Association, the combination of golf clubs that belong to it and their proximity to one another.  The organization has created a partnership between Half Moon, Rose Hall Resort & Country Club and Ritz Carlton Rose Hall Golf Resort & Spa, which essentially provides guests at each property with the same golf privileges at the other participating resorts. A guest who books a golf vacation at Half Moon who wants to play a round at the Ritz Carlton’s White Witch Golf Course or Rose Hall Golf Club (formerly Cinnamon Hill), they would be provided with a golf voucher redeemable at those courses (covering greens fees, cart and caddy) without having to worry about extra costs due to varying rates at each course.  There isn't anywhere else in the Caribbean that can compare to an offering such as this coupled with a trio of high quality courses that are within five minutes of each other that provide such a diverse challenge in terms of terrain and design.

DOMINICAN REPUBLIC

Casa De Campo - "The Caribbean’s Most Complete Resort" features spacious hotel room and villa accommodations, a variety of international restaurants, world class sports including the best golf in the Caribbean, as well as polo and horseback riding, sport shooting, tennis, deep sea and river fishing, beautiful beaches and the fabulous Altos de Chavon artists’ village. Teeth of the Dog Golf Course - With seven holes along the Caribbean Sea, Teeth of the Dog deserves its ranking as the 28th best golf course in the world (Golf Magazine, 2005). Designer Pete Dye calls it his masterpiece and points out that the course was “definitely designed by the man upstairs”. Dye Fore Golf Course- When does Pete Dye stop? His latest course is unbelievable. Dye Fore is situated on the elevated riverside of the Chavon River. On the front nine you start by playing down hill. The back nine is full of slopes and hills that challenge playing and course management skills. The Links Golf Course - Designed by Pete Dye, the Links has a moderately hilly track with tall Bahia and Guinea grass roughs as well as plenty of sand traps to keep you on your toes. Considered by some players to be reminiscent of traditional British and Scottish courses, it has several lagoons and even lakes.

Punta Cana Resort & Golf Club - This Resort of 400 rooms, with his extraordinary natural beauty, offers an invaluable privacy that can only be found in a property conceived, constructed and managed with an ecological conscience. La Cana Golf Course - Fourteen holes feature breathtaking views of the Caribbean Sea, and four holes play along the ocean itself. In true form, P.B. Dye has designed each hole to present its own unique challenge: sometimes infuriating but always memorable.
Punta Espada Golf Course - Punta Espada (located inside Cap Cana) is designed by Jack Nicklaus and is the first of three golf courses to be designed in Cap Cana by “The Bear”. 9 holes situated directly on the ocean side and all 18 holes with unique ocean views, makes this championship golf course memorable.
Punta Blanca -
Punta Blanca is the newest addition to the range of spectacular golf courses designed by the world's best architects. Expect to be challenged and amazed by Nick Price's championship design.

COSTA RICA

Cariari Country Club - Long considered to be the best course in Central America. Situated on land that was once a coffee plantation, the Cariari was designed by golf course architect George Fazio and built by his now famous nephew, Tom Fazio. This par 71 course measures 6,577 yards from the Championship tees, but plays much longer. The course is heavily wooded, the fairways are narrow with few fairway bunkers, and the greens tend to be on the large side with sand traps throughout. The greens are Bermuda and roll fast and true. The course record is held jointly by Raymond Floyd and Costa Ricans Álvaro Ortiz and Mario Pérez. The Cariari was the site of the Friendship Cup in 1979 & 1980. These PGA sponsored events were won by Larry Zeigler (2 under) and Raymond Floyd (9 under). Rental clubs available
Reserva Conchal - An ocean course with a desire to replace the Cariari Country Club as the number one golf course in Central America. No expense was spared to create a course on par with the spectacular resort it surrounds. Beautiful vistas, sweeping fairways, large undulating greens, mucho agua - simply put, a beautiful golf course. This Robert Trent Jones, II golf course at the Paradisus Playa Conchal Beach & Golf Resort was built over a period of four years and was well worth the wait. Truly admirable is the attention to detail in the dry tropical forest setting of Guanacaste.
Parque Valle del Sol - Golf course architect Tracy May re-designed the course. The results achieved by May are an outstanding 18 hole championship golf course. May, with the assistance of the on-site construction supervisor Mark Dinan, has designed the layout to be challenging and fair under most conditions, and downright tough when the winds come swirling down from the surrounding mountains. The layout is diverse and requires the use of all the clubs in your bag. The rolling hills, mature trees that were part of the original course and the surrounding mountains and bird sanctuary create a great setting for golf.
La Iguana is all we can expect from a Ted Robinson Jr. designed course. Robinson Golf, Inc. has designed more than 150 courses around the world. Ted has given us a course that few in the world can match for natural beauty and challenging golf. It is not uncommon for the guests of the Los Sueños Marriott to wrest their eyes away from the challenge of the golf course and just gaze up at one of the most picturesque settings on earth, a dense canopy of exotic plants, trees, and wildlife. Bordered by the Pacific Ocean on one side and rainforest on the other makes it a difficult task to concentrate on your golf game. If that isn't enough to distract you then there are a number of old magnificent trees that always seem to be between you and the area of the golf course you'd like to get to.
