Brookline, Ma
September 24 - 26

The first official Ryder Cup matches were played at the Worcester Country Club in Massachusetts in 1927, and now the Cup has come home to the state of its birthplace. This makes for additional pressure on the American team, as they will try to wrest the trophy from the Europeans after their disastrous loss to them at Valderrama in 1997. The Country Club at Brookline is no stranger to world-class golf, as the 1913 and 1988 U.S. Open was held here, won by Francis Ouimet - a local amateur - and Curtis Strange, respectively. It  also ranks among the top 15 courses in the country. Join us to experience the tradition national pride and team pressure as the USA takes on Europe in the 1999 Ryder Cup!
